My first woodacrving piece. Many already knew about my passion and this is not a way to share old images to make new posts. Au contraire you see my blog isn’t really a blog at all, it’s more like a personal/professional hybrid profile where my copyright is best preserved than on other way of web writing and sharing.
Today i’d like to celebrate the beginning of a new section on my website http://www.lucapovoleri.com which will host all of the picture I don’t want facebook and instagram to have it.
Why is that. First. I don’t sell my work, so I don’t care people actually sees it or know that exists. But I’m doing it so I’d like to create a space for it. I do wood work for passion and for destiny in a way. I’ve been always called by this natural raw material which has so much life inside of it thata my work is actually really like the old artist say: take out the form that already is inside it.
Second. I have worked long to creare some skills for a specific purpose that for now will remain a secret as I have to try and see if I’m capable of doing it first, so don’t ask but be sure that if it works, you will be the first to know.

You’re a resourceful man and I wish you the best from the heart. Even if it’s sad that some trees have been cut down they’re living again through your art and with you I know that this is true. I will always remember your words from those emails almost a year ago. You didn’t know me and still you gave me some words that actually changed my life.
